Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy applies to all room, meal and safari bookings made directly with DTR Jungle Hideaways LLP, whether through this website, WhatsApp, email or telephone. Bookings made through online travel agents are governed by the cancellation policy of the platform you booked on.

The slab is decided by the number of clear days between the date we receive your written cancellation request and your check-in date. Refund percentages apply to the total amount paid, inclusive of GST.

(a) Cancellation 15 days or more before the check-in date: 100% of the amount paid is refunded.
(b) Cancellation 8 to 14 days before the check-in date: 75% of the amount paid is refunded.
(c) Cancellation 4 to 7 days before the check-in date: 50% of the amount paid is refunded.
(d) Cancellation 3 days or less before the check-in date: no refund.
(e) No-show, or early departure after check-in: no refund for the unused nights.

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@dtrjunglehideaways.com, from the email address or WhatsApp number used at the time of booking, quoting your booking reference, guest name and check-in date. The date and time the request is received at our end is treated as the date of cancellation. A cancellation is effective only once we confirm it in writing.

Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days of the cancellation being confirmed, to the same payment method and the same account used for the original payment. We do not refund to a different account or in cash. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to credit the amount to your statement.

If a booking fails or is not confirmed and money has already been debited from your account, the entire amount is refunded to the same account. Please email the transaction details, including date, amount and reference number, to info@dtrjunglehideaways.com so that we can trace the payment with our bank.

Safari permits, gypsy charges and guide fees are collected and paid to the Forest Department and its authorised operators. These are refundable only to the extent that the issuing authority refunds them to us, and are governed by the rules of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve.

If a stay has to be cancelled or cut short because of circumstances beyond our control, including flooding, road closure, forest department orders, seasonal closure of safari zones, natural calamity or civil disturbance, we will offer a date change or a credit valid for a future stay, in place of a cash refund.
